Nitte Mahalinga Adhyanthaya Memorial Institute of Technology affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (V.T.U.), Belgaum is perhaps a dream realized for the Nitte Education Trust (N.E.T.).This Institution gets its name from the distinguished Engineer of coastal Karnataka, Nitte Mahalinga Adhyanthaya from a small beginning with 120 students in 1986, a thoughtful seed of education sown by the noble, distinguished and visionary founder Late Justice K.S. Hegde, NMAMIT is now a stable and well recognized name in the country with more than 5000 seekers of higher education in technology annually.The institute offers graduate programs in 7 disciplines of engineering and Postgraduate/ Research programs in 9 different streams recognized by AICTE New Delhi. The program run by the institution are accreditated by the National Board of Accreditation and the institute is awarded IS0 9001-2008 certificate by DEKRA.
