How can ammeter and voltmeter are connected in acircuit? why ?
The ammeters has low resistance so that when it is connected in series with any circuit,it does not change the current.
The voltmeters has a high resistance and it is so designed that when connected in parallel to the circuit for measuring voltages it does not take appreciable current.
An ammeter is a measuring device used to measure the electric current in a circuit. A voltmeter is connected in parallel with a device to measure its voltage, while an ammeter is connected in series with a device to measure its current.
